The platform runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Falkenstein, Germany — inside the European Union. Map tiles, fonts and every other asset are served from the same servers rather than a third-party content network.

How data is handled is set out in full in the privacy notice, including the central fact that the camera units count people and never retain an image. Supervisory authorities: Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données — gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be (Belgium); Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP) — cndp.ma (Morocco).

The platform, its design system, its software and the measurement data are the property of the operator, except where stated otherwise. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, rendered from Protomaps basemaps; weather and sea data are from Open-Meteo. Both are used under their own licences and credited on the surfaces that display them.

Errors in the data, a beach described wrongly, an accessibility barrier, or a security issue — all to contact@ystara.com. Security reports are welcome and will not be treated as hostile; please give us a reasonable chance to fix an issue before publishing it.
